Krisp is an open source script and tool that allow you to create windows registry entries on the fly. It also allows you to run other automated tasks, such as defragmenting, backup and restore. Krisp is free to download and use under any circumstances. If you have Windows XP or later, you can install it by clicking on the Download Manager located on the main menu (bottom left corner of your desktop). If you have Windows Vista, you will need to click on the "Vista" link to proceed with the installation.
After you have installed the Krisp application, you will need to open up "My Computer" to upload the latest version. On the "My Computer" screen, you will see a flashing yellow line containing two tabs; one for files, and one for software. The files tab contains all of the files that are locally saved on your computer, whilst the software tab will show all installed software. Click on the software tab, which contains various options; the more you have, the more you'll see in the software list.
You will need to know exactly what you wish to do with each file, before you click the "Open" button. This will cause the application to browse through the entire contents of your windows folder and display any matching files. You can select all matching files or a specific file(s) depending on how detailed you want your application to be. A typical Krisp application will list all of the files associated with every instance of the application. You can then choose to delete any files that you do not want, or simply ignore it. You can also browse the folders of the software to find any matching files or folder structure.
